SafeMove - OmniCore

Course goal
After this course the participant should be able to setup and
configure an OmniCore robot system with SafeMove.
Course objectives
Upon completion of this course, the student should be able to:
• Replace the DSQC1015 Safety Module.
• Connect protective stop and emergency stop devices.
• Set up safety users.
• Configure system parameters.
• Use safe I/O.
• Set up zones and ranges.
• Configure safety functions.
• Review the ABB Safety Configuration Report.
• Validate the configuration.
• Reinstall RobotWare on a system with SafeMove.
• Backup the safety configuration.
• Restore the safety configuration.
Student profile
This training is targeted to personnel working with installation
and configuration of the safety module, SafeMove, and the
functional safety options.
Prerequisites
Previous experience of using RobotStudio, configuring system
parameters, and programming robot systems is required.

Course type
The course is instructor-led .
Approximately 50% of the time is used for handson exercises.
