Course goal
After this course the participant should be able to setup and configure an IRC5 robot system with SafeMove2.
Course objectives
Upon completion of this course, the student should be able to:
• Install the DSQC1015 Safety Module.
• Set up safety users.
• Configure system parameters.
• Use safe I/O.
• Set up zones and ranges.
• Configure safety functions.
• Review the ABB Safety Configuration Report.
• Validate the configuration.
• Reinstall RobotWare on a system with Safe Move.
• Backup the safety configuration.
• Restore the safety configuration.
Student profile
This training is targeted to personnel working with installation and configuration of the safety module, SafeMove, and the functional safety options.
Prerequisites
Previous experience of using RobotStudio, configuring system parameters, and programming robot systems is required.

Course type
The course is instructor-led and can be performed both face-to-face and as a virtual class-room. Approximately 60% of the time is used for handson exercises.
