A gentle introduction to the world of sound – for babies and their caregivers

Music accompanies babies from the very beginning – it soothes, connects, and stimulates the senses.
In our baby music class at IMS Music School, we create a safe and relaxed environment where babies aged 4 to 13 months can experience music together with a parent or other trusted caregiver.
Our music education concept was specially developed by experienced professionals for this early stage of development. It combines music, movement, and sensory experiences in a natural and age-appropriate way.

What to expect in the course

Exploring music with all the senses
Gentle songs, lap games, rhythmic play, and first experiences with small instruments – all tailored to the needs and developmental stages of young babies. Music naturally supports early language development, motor skills, and body awareness.

Strengthening the bond through shared experiences
Musical rituals encourage connection between baby and caregiver through closeness, touch, voice, and movement.

A space for parents to connect
The course also provides room for parent-to-parent exchange: connecting with others, sharing experiences, and receiving small discussion prompts on everyday life with a baby, developmental stages, and ways to integrate music into daily routines.

Ideas for home
We’ll share practical ideas you can easily try at home – simple songs, movements, and playful activities to make music a natural part of your family life.
