What is the aim of the seminar?
Since the beginning of 2012, we have been a partner of the EXIST start-up program Gründungsstipendium/Forschungstransfer of the Federal Ministry of Economics. On behalf of the Projektträger Jülich/PtJ, we offer EXIST scholarship holders a framework in which they can reflect on the current challenges of their business model, their required skills as well as the team situation, common objectives and the roles of the individual members under expert guidance.
We work with innovative methods and tools that have been specially developed or adapted for coaching start-ups.
In the run-up to the seminar, a short e-learning session and a survey will take place, the results of which will be used in the seminar.
To date, over 1000 start-up teams from the EXIST program have attended our seminars.
How exactly will it work?

Participation in the EXIST seminar “Founding Team” is a mandatory part of your funding from PtJ or BMWE.
If you are unable to attend the agreed seminar date due to illness, we require a written medical certificate from you within one week. Team members who are not ill remain obliged to attend on the agreed date.
In the event that your entire team has to cancel their seminar participation at the agreed date in advance for other reasons, this is possible free of charge up to 15 days before the date. From two weeks before the agreed date, we reserve the right, in consultation with the Projektträger Jülich, to charge a cancellation-/no-show fee if no replacement team can be found for your seminar place (currently €450 plus VAT per team). The obligation to participate remains and you will be invited again to the next seminar series.
In the event of unexcused non-attendance at the agreed appointment, a cancellation fee will always be charged to cover any expenses incurred.
If the seminars have not reached the minimum number of registrations two weeks before the date, we reserve the right to cancel an under-subscribed seminar for organizational and economic reasons.
