Course Goal
After a completed course, the participant shall be able to program, test, and optimize a structured
robot application.
Course objectives
Upon completion of this course, the participant will be able to:
• Understand Programdata structure (Atomic & Record)
• Be able to make custom made program datatypes
• Be able to define programdatas to arrays
• Be able to make program displacements and shift positions & Tool/wobj coordinate systems in program
• Be able to make searching in programs (SearcL-instruction)
• Add Error handling to routines
• Program interrupt instructions and traps
• Create function type routines and using funtions in programs
• Be able to add parameters and additional parameters to procedure and function type routines
• Create event routines and use in programs
• Understand backward & undo handler in routines
• Be able to add and program backround task to system
( Multitasking option )
• Be able to program Worldzones
( World Zones option )
• Be able to use softservo in programs
Student profile
Advanced Programming is intended for students that have attended the basic
programming course but require greater knowledge of programming features.
Prerequisites
You should have completed a basic programming course for ABB Robots or have
corresponding experience.
