The training courses take place during normal office hours in relation to our location in Germany (CET/CEST)
- usually from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
Your physical well-being is catered for in all our training courses. We are also happy to help you with hotel bookings.
Please note that we cannot provide catering for online training courses / webinars. We recommend that you provide yourself with sufficient drinks and nourishment.

Data Science Basics
Objective:
Participants will have a sound basic knowledge of Python that will enable them to develop effective solutions. They will learn the basic principles of machine learning and be able to apply these concepts in practice. They will also develop a deep understanding of statistical methods and metrics. They will dive into various leading frameworks, such as Azure Databricks. They learn how to use these tools to successfully implement data-driven projects.
Methodology:
Teaching the basics and theory on days 1 and 2: The various aspects of data science, including Python programming, statistics and machine learning.
Practical appliaction of what has been learned on days 3 and 4: Independent work in a Python notebook to gain practical experience and consolidate what has been learned.

After completing this training, participants will be able to implement data science methods independently and interpret the results obtained in a well-founded manner. They will be able to create a significant advantage for their company through effective data analysis. They will also learn how to efficiently use the frameworks used in the company, such as Azure Databricks, which optimizes the application of these tools and increases the efficiency of data-driven projects.
After successful participation, we issue a certificate as proof of the knowledge acquired.

- Basics of statistics/stochastics/machine learning
- Supervised and unsupervised learning
- Evaluation metrics
- Hyperparameters
- Parallelization
- Implementation using an example
Day 3 and 4:
- Application of the knowledge acquired using real data sets
- Loading and exploring the data set (Exploratory Data Analysis)
- Preprocessing and data cleaning
- Feature selection
- Selection of a suitable model
- Evaluation of the model
- Visualization of the results
